Our mission is to build stronger, more reliable education strategies for the talented and gifted youth of our communities.

Gifted students have a right to learn and grow every day. Instead of experiencing stagnation, they need to be challenged to develop grit and perseverance. As Charles Murray argues in Human Accomplishment, it's essential for gifted students to "learn what it feels like to hit an intellectual wall." This experience of facing setbacks and challenges is crucial for them to develop a realistic sense of their abilities and build the humility needed for future success. While the modern education system often overlooks these students, assuming they will succeed on their own, a specialized education ensures they receive the intellectual challenges they need to truly flourish.

What is “TAG?”

TAG stands for (Talented and Gifted) and refers to students who have the capability to perform at higher levels compared to others who are the same grade, are in the same environment, or have the same experiences. It is a needs-based approach that provides differentiated instruction, allowing students to learn at an accelerated rate with greater complexity than the standard curriculum. Therefore, it also refers to educational programs and services designed to meet the specific learning and emotional needs of high ability students.

How It Works

Educators

As an educator of 25 years, I know that serving the needs of TAG students within your classroom can feel overwhelming. Many curriculums have limited resources for TAG students, putting the pressure on teachers to produce them. Through our partnership and creativity, we can work together to create activities and lessons that support your core curriculum while using best practices for TAG students. From creation of lessons, to learning the strategies that can be used on a daily basis to best support TAG students, I am here to guide and support you.

Pathways for Gifted equips you for success.
